On July 26, 2004 the Corridor Business Journal published the first edition of its weekly business newspaper for the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City Corridor. Every week since then, the CBJ has provided its readers with comprehensive coverage of local business news. We cover news that is of interest, use and importance for anyone who does business in the growing Iowa City and Cedar Rapids Corridor. The CBJ is not part of a chain. The newspaper is owned and operated independently by John and Aspen Lohman.

Founded in July 2008, Silicon Prairie News exists to highlight and support the burgeoning entrepreneurial ecosystem on the Silicon Prairie. With five full-time employees and nearly a dozen contributors, they have individuals on the ground in and around Omaha, Des Moines and Kansas City.
